APSS Announces Matt McCann as Software Advisory Executive Board Member

COLUMBUS, OHIO (September 12, 2017) – Alert Public Safety Solutions (APSS), today announced that Matt McCann, 911 Coordinator for the Madison County Sheriff’s office has been appointed as an executive board member of the APSS Software Advisory Board.

McCann, a veteran of Public Safety Communications, has been involved in the field since 1998.  McCann’s daily responsibilities as the Madison County 911 Coordinator include CAD Administration, 911 Coordination, OH LEADS TAC, LEADS LASO and Ohio MARCS Coordination.  He also holds APCO Certification in Public Safety Telecommunications, Fire Service Communications, and Motorola Certifications in ASTRO25 and APX CPS programming.

Madison County has been an APSS customer since 2012 and users Responder™, Sentinel™, First Due™, Rescue™, and AlertMap™.  McCann brings a wealth of knowledge in APSS Product Suite™ and has assisted APSS in product upgrades and enhancements.

The APSS Software Advisory Board (SAB), welcomes McCann to the executive board and looks forward to using his knowledge and strength in the product line to drive the future development of the software and the company.
